Safeguards?

While creating assemblies in Metrc, there are no safeguards. The conversion process from Trim → Hash → Edibles is the biggest compliance risk for mistakes for manufacturers.

BriAnne has dove into many licenses be severely out of tracking compliance due to improper flows. Keep in mind that Metrc is designed for tracking only, not to prevent you from accidentally inputting wrong data. Converting improperly can lead to ghost weight and conversion discrepancies due to improper recording of the unit of measure. Even worse, a Metrc-integrated seed-to-sale technology solution (or cannabis ERP) cannot save you from these mistakes.
